Student teaching can feel intimidating for everyone involved — student teachers, cooperating teachers, and supervisors alike. This session is designed to help ease the transition from placement to the classroom by providing practical guidance, helpful tips, and real-world perspectives from those who have experienced the process firsthand.
Join supervisors, cooperating teachers, and former student teachers as they discuss the ins and outs of student teaching, including communication, expectations, classroom experiences, professionalism, and strategies for success throughout the 12–16 week placement. Whether you are preparing to begin your journey or supporting someone through it, this session will provide valuable insight, encouragement, and resources to help make the experience rewarding and successful for all involved.
