Chair Yoga
Saturday November 14, 2026 8:00am - 9:00am CST
Looking for new ways to engage your middle and high school students in mindful movement? This interactive session offers two parallel yoga experiences -- vinyasa flow for those ready to move through energizing sequences on the mat, and chair yoga for those who benefit from seated, low-impact movements. Participants can choose their preferred format, experiencing firsthand how both approaches can be used to support students across all ability levels. You'll leave with adaptable tools and techniques you can apply immediately in your classroom --whether you're working with students in general education, adapted PE settings, or unified PE programs. Come flow with us your own way!

The Heart of Teaching: Self-Care Yoga for Educators
Saturday November 14, 2026 9:15am - 10:15am CST
Health and physical educators spend so much of their energy supporting, guiding, and caring for others, often with limited space to receive that same care in return. This session offers a gentle, heart-centered yoga experience designed to slow down, soften tension, and reconnect with a sense of ease and compassion. Through mindful movement, breath, and a guided loving-kindness meditation, participants are invited into a gentle practice that nurtures presence, emotional balance, and a renewed sense of inner steadiness. A space to simply pause, receive, and return to the heart of teaching. Led by Candice Swee, RYT 500, Physical Education Teacher at Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, MO.
